Sydney's newest landmark Darling Quarter selected WebFM
Sydney's newest landmark Darling Quarter selected WebFM – OMTrak as an electronic way of delivering to the client the Operation and Maintenance Manuals in keeping with the 6 Star Design of the project. This electronic form of O&M Manuals replaces all the hard copy prints in both draft and final versions thus saving the environment. WebFM have always been helpful in tailoring the Manuals to suit our project and provided easy training to all users. The system is easy to use and has been embraced by our subcontractors, consultants and client as a way of progressively uploading and reviewing the content to avoid major delays at handover.
When I was trying to work out with our ICA how we can separately store and deliver all the commissioning information the first thing I thought of was to ask WebFM to add a new subproject for the Commissioning Manuals. The information already uploaded in the OMTrak was easily added to the Commissioning Manual via the document link saving both time and money for the subcontractors and contractor.
I would certainly be recommending WebFM to any client or project in the future.
Regards,
Neil Wight | Snr Services Manager, Darling Quarter | Project Management & Construction | Lend Lease
